Niklas Cuno is a Ph.D. candidate in the Department of Law & Anthropology at the Max Planck Institute for Social Anthropology in Halle, affiliated with the Cultural and Religious Diversity under State Law across Europe (CUREDI) research group. He holds a degree in law with a specialization in migration law from Martin Luther University Halle-Wittenberg. During his time there, he worked as a student assistant at the Chair of Public Law and the associated Research Unit for Migration Law under Prof. Dr. Winfried Kluth. He conducts his doctoral research in the field of asylum law.
